Personal Thoughts

I’m a day late with this week’s weekly update, daylight savings has started, spring has arrived. The following is a piece inspired by the cool breeze at sunset on a warm spring day.

We need to do the best we can with the resources that we have available to us. We need to create more options for ourselves so that when the crisis hits. We are as best prepared as we can be. We should not be pushing the current top down narrative along (War, COVID) but creating our own story for ourselves. Reach higher and be more present in life. Inspire yourself and the people around you to grow, to be more tomorrow than who they are today. That doesn’t mean you need to change the world, just to make a difference in the people we love. Breath in the fresh air, be in the nature. Being more in the nature doesn’t mean you need to be rolling in the mud. It just means that you breath fresher air, look at greener scenes, listen to sounds of birds and oceans and wind and rain. Feel the warmth of the sunshine, embrace the cold of winter.

Buddhism

I was asked a question about my religion and if we have an end of world scenario like in Christianity. First off, I don’t really have a religion. Growing up, my family has been a Buddhist family, we’d sometimes go to temple on a Sunday. If you come to my parents’ place, there’s various altars of worship to various deities throughout the house and to the ancestors. As kids “go to temple” means you run around in the gardens chasing random cats, moving around random scary statue with eyes that look like they are about to pop out of their heads (the four heavenly kings), other than that it’s filled with rituals and traditions.

Now that I’m older, I will sum up what I have since discovered Buddhism to mean something different. Which is that you are in the Matrix, and your end objective is to get out after playing the game over and over and over again and coming to the realisation that you are in the matrix. The Buddha was Neo, and helped people escape the matrix. In the matrix it’s full of suffering, we suffer when we come into the matrix, we suffer when we exit the matrix, we suffer when we sick in the Matrix.

Changing World

Everything is happening as expected. When we separated the church and its control of the state, there was the same corruption between the church and the state. We are going through the process of separating the state from the ability to create and controlling money. In the same way as the church fought back, the same will happen again as those in power wish to remain in control.

This video is gut wrenching to say the least. Australians need to decide what kind of society we are – one that cares and investigates suspected vaccine injuries without bias, or one that sweeps them under the carpet and vilifies people who’ve had them.

COVID and Vaccine

Just checking on how that climate change is going again.

You only have a few more years to drive and holiday by taking a plane. People do realise that planes no longer fly if you don’t produce oil and gas right? And also boat will no longer ship goods.
